Hayman Island State School's facilities consists of a lovely fenced playground, an under covered area, and one and a half classroom spaces.
These spaces have been divided into a range of learning spaces including:
- Our carpet area used for group discussions, and larger activities including dance and music
- Our "Blue Room" which houses the resources and information for English, HASS (History and Social Science), Health and Languages. This space also houses our reading library.
- Our "STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Area" with resources on display for students to use. This section also contains our reference library.
- Our reading and craft space. This includes all of our resources for teaching reading, including over 1500 levelled readers from beginning phase up into middle primary school.
